One of the fastest growing areas of the company is the Wheel and Original Equipment Division. This was formed in response to the rapid changes in the tyre industry and the ever-growing demand for more specialised tyres, especially in the agricultural and industrial sectors. More sophisticated vehicles with higher speeds and greater load bearing capacities are being developed.
 

Our technical advisors work closely with the R&D engineers at Alliance and Mefro Wheels, who not only train out own personnel but assist manufacturers and tyre dealers to select the right tyre and wheel for each application. Standard industrial, truck and farm wheels are held in stock at all times. Specialised wheels can be manufactured, usually by our own WORKSHOP, to suit most applications within 14 days, and our fitters work 7 days a week to keep complete assemblies rolling.

Kirkby also supply OE customers such as JCB and many other major OE customers with tyres, wheels and complete assemblies.

Kirkby Tyres are also a distributor for the BEAD BUSTER tyre stripping tool.
This revolutionary industrial-strength bead breaking tool makes the demounting of tyres quick and easy. BEAD BUSTER can be used on ATV tyres, truck tyres (tubeless and tube tyre), agricultural and industrial tyres.

Agricultural tyres can be demounted while the wheel is still on the tractor or digger, therefore saving downtime, or BEAD BUSTER can be used while the tyre and wheel are flat on the ground.

No bigger than a small jack and weighing 5kg, BEAD BUSTER can be stored in a tool box or vehicle cab, and is used with a 1-1/4” socket and ratchet spanner, producing 10 tons of pressure.
